How do I create animated text?

Use the Text Tool, type your content, then select an animation style from the Properties panel. PinePaper supports Pulse, Rotate, Bounce, Fade, Wobble, Swing, Shake, Jelly, and more.

Can I export my animation as video?

Yes! PinePaper exports to MP4 video (H.264), WebM (VP9), GIF animations, animated SVG with SMIL, and static PNG. MP4 and WebM are ideal for social media, GIF for messaging apps.

What file formats can I import?

You can import SVG files, raster images (PNG, JPG), and create text and shapes from scratch.

Does PinePaper work on mobile?

Shape Keys

Capture per-item visual deltas (size, color, segments) and blend them at any weight. Useful for facial expressions (blink, smile, surprise) on rigged characters.

Vision Puppeteer (webcam)

Drive the active skeleton from your webcam. Loads MediaPipe Pose Landmarker on first use (~3 MB). Bones auto-map to landmarks by name — name your bones left_arm, right_thigh, spine, etc. for best results.

Drive shape keys (face tracking) Maps facial expressions (smile, blink, jawOpen) to shape keys on the active skeleton by name.

How to Use PinePaper Studio

Mobile Mode

You're viewing the mobile version. Tap items to select, drag to move, and use templates for quick designs.

For full control over fonts, animations, properties, and advanced features, use desktop mode.

Tip: Tap Refresh in the menu to start with a clean canvas.

Getting Started

Toolbar (Left): Select tools to add Text, Shapes, Drawings, or Images.
Properties (Right):
- Select an item to edit its Font, Color, and Animation.
- Click the background to edit the Pattern or Background Image.

Multi-Language Support

PinePaper Studio supports text in all languages and scripts (e.g., Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Emoji).

Animations

Select an item and choose an animation style from the grid in the Properties panel.

Pulse/Wobble/Rotate: Simple loop animations.
Path: Use the "Path Tool" (pencil icon) to draw a custom path for the item to follow!

Start with pre-designed templates for quick creation:

Click "Templates" button (left sidebar) to browse available templates.
Select a template to load it onto your canvas instantly.
Customize everything: Edit text, change colors, adjust animations - templates are fully editable.
Save your own: Create something amazing? Click "Save Template" to add it to your library.

Templates include backgrounds, text, and animations all configured for you. Perfect for social media posts, quotes, and more!
