Arrows & Connectors
Create arrows and connectors to link elements or add directional indicators.
Activating the Arrow Tool
- Click the Arrow button in the toolbar, or
- Press A
Creating Arrows
- Activate the Arrow Tool
- Click where you want the arrow to start
- Click additional points to create the path
- Double-click or press Enter to finish
Arrow Styles
Path Styles
| Style | Description |
|---|---|
| Straight | Direct line between points |
| Orthogonal | Right-angle corners (flowchart style) |
| Smooth | Curved path through points |
Arrowhead Styles
| Style | Description |
|---|---|
| Classic | Filled triangle |
| Stealth | Diamond with notch (technical look) |
| Open | V-shape stroke only |
| None | No arrowhead (just the path) |
Arrow Settings
Adjust these in the Properties Panel:

| Line Width | Path thickness |
| Head Style | Arrowhead type |
| Head Size | Arrowhead scale |
Animated Arrows
Add a “bolt” effect that travels along the arrow path:
- Select the arrow
- Enable Bolt Effect in Properties
- Adjust bolt settings:
- Color — Bolt/sparkle color
- Speed — Animation speed
- Size — Bolt size
Editing Arrows
Moving Points
- Select the arrow with Selection Tool
- Drag control points to reshape
Changing Style
- Select the arrow
- Change Path Style in Properties Panel
- The arrow updates immediately
Deleting Arrows
- Select the arrow
- Press Delete

Tips
Arrow Tips:
- Use the same line color as your text for cohesion
