Tutorial: Create a Presentation Slide

Design an animated slide for presentations or video intros.

What You’ll Create

A professional title slide with animated text and background.

Step 1: Set Up Canvas

1. Click canvas size dropdown
2. Select YouTube Thumbnail (1280×720) or Default (800×600)
3. This gives you a 16:9 aspect ratio

Step 2: Create Background

Option A: Gradient Background

1. Scene tab → Background Mode: Solid Color
2. Set color: #1e293b (dark slate)

Option B: Dynamic Background

1. Scene tab → Background Mode: Generator
2. Select Grid with dots
3. Set colors:
   • Grid Color: #334155
   • Background: #0f172a

Step 3: Add Title

1. Press T
2. Type your presentation title
3. Properties:
   • Font Size: 64
   • Font Color: #f1f5f9 (light gray)
4. Position in the upper-center

Step 4: Add Subtitle/Speaker Name

1. Press T
2. Type subtitle or speaker name
3. Properties:
   • Font Size: 28
   • Font Color: #94a3b8 (muted)
4. Position below the title

Step 5: Add Decorative Element

Create a simple divider line:

1. Scene tab → Switch to Drawing mode
2. Draw a horizontal line between title and subtitle
3. Or use an arrow: Press A

Step 6: Animate Elements

Title Animation

1. Select the title
2. Create keyframes:
   • 0s: Opacity 0, X position -50px
   • 0.5s: Opacity 1, X position center
   • Easing: Ease Out

Subtitle Animation (Delayed)

1. Select subtitle
2. Keyframes:
   • 0s: Opacity 0
   • 0.3s: Opacity 0 (delay)
   • 0.8s: Opacity 1
   • Easing: Ease Out

Divider Animation

1. Select divider
2. Keyframes:
   • 0s: Scale X 0
   • 0.6s: Scale X 1
   • Easing: Ease Out

Step 7: Add Accent Animation

For ongoing visual interest:

1. Select the title
2. Add Effect: Sparkle
3. Set very low speed (0.3)
4. Subtle color that matches your theme

Step 8: Preview

1. Press Space
2. Check timing flows naturally
3. Adjust keyframe positions if needed

Step 9: Export

For Video Intro

1. Export as MP4
2. Duration: 3 seconds
3. Frame Rate: 30 fps
4. Import into your video editor

For Presentation Software

1. Export as GIF (if auto-play supported)
2. Or PNG for static slide

• White background

• Dark background with grid generator
