Magic Button
The Magic button brings your static designs to life with a single click. It analyzes your canvas content and applies context-aware animations and styles automatically.
What Does Magic Do?
Magic provides two powerful features:
| Action | Trigger | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Auto Animate | Click | Applies mood-based animations to all items |
| Remix Style | Shift+Click | Cycles through color palettes |
Auto Animate (Click)
Clicking the Magic button applies animations based on a cycling mood system:
| Mood | Animation Style | Example Effects |
|---|---|---|
| Calm | Gentle, subtle movements | Slow pulse, gentle float, soft fade |
| Professional | Clean, precise motions | Slide-in, smooth scale, crisp transitions |
| Energetic | Dynamic, bold animations | Bounce, elastic pop, rapid pulse |
Each click advances to the next mood, cycling through Calm -> Professional -> Energetic -> Calm.
How It Works
- Magic analyzes your canvas content (text, shapes, images)
- It detects the current design mood and color scheme
- It selects appropriate animations from its knowledge base of 117+ real template designs
- Animations are applied to each item with staggered timing
Remix Style (Shift+Click)
Hold Shift and click the Magic button to cycle through color palettes without changing animations:
- Each shift+click applies a new color scheme
- Colors are selected to complement your design’s content
- Text, shapes, and backgrounds all update together
Tip: Try combining both features: first click Magic to add animations, then Shift+Click to find the perfect color palette.
Finding the Magic Button
The Magic button appears in two locations:
- Left toolbar - The sparkle/wand icon labeled “Magic”
- Top toolbar - The Magic tools button for quick access
Your Content Is Protected
Magic is designed to enhance your work, not replace it. When you click Magic:
- Your items stay put — Text and shapes you created are never repositioned, restyled, or deleted
- Only Magic items get cleaned up — When you click Magic again, previous Magic-generated items are removed and replaced, but your content remains intact
- Safe to experiment — Click Magic as many times as you like without losing your work
This means you can freely add text and shapes to the canvas, then click Magic repeatedly to find the perfect complementary animations and styling — your content will always be preserved.
Tips for Best Results
- Add content first - Magic works best with at least 2-3 items on the canvas
- Try multiple clicks - Each click cycles to a new mood, so click through to find the perfect feel
- Use with templates - Load a template first, then use Magic to add custom animations
- Undo if needed - Press Ctrl+Z to undo Magic and try again
- Combine with keyframes - Magic-applied animations work alongside your custom keyframe animations
